Service Description

Interested in competition shooting but need a starting point? Already competing but looking for specific guidance on the small things that make a big difference? Join us! This class will jump start your interest or current participation in competition shooting with a focus on USPSA in particular. We will run a number of drills that I have found yield the best results and we will run several stages that are purpose built to work on the main areas of the course. Limited to ONLY 10 SLOTS. This will allow the serious folks the ability to have one on one coaching for two days and to get in many needed reps under supervision. May 6th and 7th All damn day. (9-5) $440 per person with $140 deposit due at Sign Up. Range fee: TBD by range ($15-$30 expected) Barber Patch and Cert of Completion at the end of the course Thunder Gun Range, Houston /Conroe TX We will cover the rules of the sport in regards to: -Points system -Gear -Matches -Sportsmanship -Classification -Stage analysis and breakdown -180 rule -Memberships Shooting wise we will cover: - Movement -Transitions -Throttle Control -Entries and Exits -Efficiency -Blending Positions -Visualization -Reloads, Draws, Unloaded starts -Specific questions Gear Required -USPSA style belt (sturdy- inner/outer recommended) -USPSA approved holster (no serpa style or cloth/uncle mike allowed) -500rds + of ammo (expect to rep out most drills 5 plus times) -3 mag pouches -5+ mags of at least 12rds -Weather appropriate clothing -Closed toe shoes -Eye and Ear protection -Chair -Water and Snacks -Bug spray and Sunscreen -First aid

Cancelation Policy

Due to the high demand of our courses and limited spaces, we must have 48 hours notice in order to inform those on our wait list of availability. If you miss a class without notice, there is a $50 rescheduling fee. You are able to reschedule one time. An additional absence will result in forfeiture of your class payment and you will have to re-enroll. Enrolling in the incorrect course will result in a course credit that is transferable to another course of your choosing. The new course selection must be chosen within 30 days of the original course date and must be a course that is scheduled to occur within 90 days .There are no refunds.
